Recipe: Frankincense and Cinnamon Winter Balm

Renowned for its beneficial properties, frankincense is among the most valued essential oils. Pair with cinnamon leaf essential oil for a warm and sultry combination perfect for chapped winter skin.


  1. Combine cocoa butter, beeswax and coconut oil in a double boiler and heat gently on low heat until melted.
  2. Turn off heat, add essential oils and stir.
  3. Pour into 4 oz jar or other airtight container of choice to let cool and set.

    • Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
    • Balm should last several years if stored properly.
