Recipe: Cornflower Tonic for Puffy Eyes

Cornflowers have a long history of use in skin and eye care. This simple tonic uses their properties to help soothe and smooth tired and puffy eyes.


  1. Make an infusion by adding the cornflowers to the water.
  2. Gently bring to a simmer and allow to simmer over very low heat for 15 minutes.
  3. Allow to cool and then decant into an airtight container.
  4. Add the oils, seal the container, and shake well to combine all the ingredients.

To Use:

  • Gently shake container.
  • Apply tonic to cotton pads and place pads over tired and puffy eyes.
  • Allow to rest on eyes for 10-15 minutes.

Store in the refrigerator when not in use.
