Recipe: Fromage Blanc Basil Dip

Basil makes an excellent addition to creamy fromage blanc for this dip or spread.


  • 8-ounces fromage blanc
  • 3 Tbsp. fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. coarse sea salt
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • paprika, to taste
  • black pepper, to taste


  1. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and beat until mixed well.
  2. Cover and chill the dip for 2 to 3 hours. Stir again before serving to ensure the oil is mixed in.
