This was my first time to ever make yogurt. I have been eating commercial, non-dairy yogurts for years but just got tired of all the sugar and additives - and the expense and waste (we recycle the cups, but still). I was prepared for my first attempt to make yogurt to not turn out like real yogurt, but I was pleasantly surprised with the result! I used Westsoy's unsweetened soy milk (which is just water and organic soy beans) and added 2 tbsp organic raw sugar per quart of soy milk. I followed the heating and culturing instructions exactly - and what do you know, perfectly set up soy yogurt. Great texture and taste - and so easy!!
