Viili Yogurt Starter

I was used to making yogurt the traditional way, but thought this would be an easier way (not having to heat it and let it cool, etc). However, the consistency was very runny, adn I did not care for the taste. It tasted exactly like sour cream, which is fine if you want to use it as a replacement for sour cream, but that's not what I wanted it for. It did culture very quickly as it is summertime, but the results were less than satisfactory. I will be going back to making yogurt the traditional way. I don't have much use for runny yogurt, as I can use kefir for smoothies, etc.
