  • The product is about 9.5" in diameter, and about 9.5" high (plus the height of the grains sprouting out of it).

  • How do you use this Sprout Garden? What are the instructions?
    What medium is used for the seeds? How much seeds can you put in each container?

    The trays are stacked so they seeds can easily be rinsed and allowed to rest and sprout. There is no "medium" such as soil. If the seeds are soaked for the appropriate amount of time and then rinsed as indicated for each type of seeds, they sprout without any soil, etc. How many seeds you can sprout really depends on the type of sprouted (broccoli seeds are much smaller than mung bean seeds for example) but a general rule of thumb is a couple of tablespoons per container.

  • I recently sprouted some broccoli seeds in a very inexpensive sprouter. The seeds sprouted but I began to notice a horrific smell and ended up throwing the seeds and the sprouter out. I suspect that the design of the sprouter prevented proper drainage of the seeds. Tell me how I might have a better experience using your sprouter.
  • The problem could be caused by a few issues, improper drainage would be the first thing to check. Airflow could be another issue as well as seed quality. Make certain you are using seeds specifically designed for sprouting so they don't include harmful chemicals.
