- We strive to process all orders within two business days (Monday-Friday) of receiving both the order and payment. You will be notified if there will be a significant shipping delay (beyond three business days). Orders are shipped from Sioux Falls, South Dakota (excluding Food Dehydrators, Fermentation Crocks, Sprouted Flour/Grain, Ready-to-Eat Cultured Vegetables/Condiments and Family Grain Mills which ship directly from the respective manufacturers and on an alternate shipping schedule; these items generally ship within 2 to 3 business days).

Cultures for Health cannot be responsible for the delivery of the shipment once it has left our facility. - Payment Methods
- We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. If you prefer to pay via money order or check, please mail your written order and payment to Cultures for Health, 807 N. Helen Avenue, Sioux Falls, South Dakota 57104. Be sure to include your full name, address, phone number, e-mail address, items ordered, and preferred shipping method. Please use the website to calculate the appropriate payment total including applicable shipping charges. Please note, we reserve the right to delay shipment up to two weeks following payment receipt for orders paid via money order for verification purposes.
- Responsibility for Product Shipment
- Please enter your shipping information carefully. Packages that must be reshipped due to faulty addresses will be assessed a second delivery charge.
- Once an order has been delivered to the shipping carrier, Cultures for Health is no longer responsible for the contents. We encourage customers to use the tracking information provided to them to track shipments and retrieve their items promptly. Please note, starter cultures and some cheese making supplies (e.g. rennet) are sensitive to high temperatures. Please remove these items from the mailbox promptly and store them in the refrigerator or the freezer. Cultured vegetables/juices/condiments are shipped in a chilled state and should be placed in the refrigerator or freezer immediately upon arrival.
- Returns and Replacements
- Please contact us if you wish to return an item. Items must be returned in unused resellable condition within 15 days of receipt. Please note, due to the perishable nature of the product, ready-to-eat cultured vegetables, juices, and condiments cannot be returned.
- A 15% restocking fee will be applied to returned items. Shipping charges will not be refunded. Refunds for returns will be issued once the items are received and determined to be in unused resellable condition. Refunds will be issued to the same credit card used at the time of the order. If for any reason a refund to the specific credit card cannot be processed, Cultures for Health reserves the right to issue refunds via check. Cultures for Health does not control when your specific credit card company processes a charge back transaction. While it typically takes 3-10 business days for a credit/refund transaction to appear on a credit card statement, the exact amount of time is dependent on the specific policies of your credit card company. You are responsible for contacting your credit card company if you have questions about the status of the charge back.
- Tracking Your Order
- A shipping confirmation e-mail with tracking information will be sent to the e-mail address listed on the order once the items have been prepared for shipment. Shipping confirmation e-mails are sometimes caught by spam/junk mail folders so please add culturesforhealth.com to your list of safe e-mail addresses.
