Mexican-style Kombucha Marinade


Try this recipe for your next fiesta! Kombucha is an amazing addition to any marinade mix, the more acidic the better. 


  • ⅓ cup tomato sauce
  • ⅓ cup sunflower oil
  • ¼ cup kombucha
  • Juice from 2 limes
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder


  1. Mix all ingredients together.
  2. Submerge the meat in the marinade and leave for at least 2 hours, or overnight in the fridge, for better results.
  3. Makes enough marinade for 1 pound of meat.
