Recipe: Maple Syrup Lip Exfoliator

As cold, dry months approach, our lips require extra care. This exfoliator uses brown sugar to gently remove flaky skin, and maple syrup, rich in antioxidants, zinc and manganese, to renew and protect delicate lips against the harsh elements.

  • 1-2 Tbsp. maple syrup (using less maple syrup will create a pastier cosistency)
  • 1-3 Tbsp. brown sugar (using more brown sugar will create a pastier consistency)
  • 2 tsp. olive oil, avocado oil or other carrier oil
  • ¼ tsp.

  1. Combine all ingredients together to create a thick paste.
