Chai tea adds delicious spice to kefir in a second fermentation.
- 2 cups Milk Kefir
- 1 Chai Tea Bag (preferably organic, or herbal for caffeine-free)
- Sweetener to taste (Honey, Maple Syrup, etc.)
- Place freshly cultured milk kefir in a sealable jar, and add the tea bag.
- Cover the lid tightly and culture at room temperature for an additional 12-24 hours. Remove the tea bag and refrigerate. Add sweetener to taste before serving. Enjoy!
