This smoothie is icy cold and refreshing for the hottest of days. The cultured milk kefir packs a nutritional punch, and the pinch of salt really brings out the flavor of the cantaloupe.
- 4 cups milk kefir
- 3-4 cups ice
- 1 small canteloupe, peeled, seeded, and chopped
- 1 Tbsp. raw honey
- Pinch of sea salt
- To a large blender, add kefir; add ice, chopped cantaloupe, honey and salt. Blend 20-30 seconds until all is combined and smooth.
- Taste and add more sweetener if desired. Serve on a hot summer day.
