I keep my home under 70 degrees in the winter. I was having difficulty with the efficiency of the Yogotherm. I then tried something that worked well. I boil water and pour it into 2 tall shot glasses that fit between my jars of warmed milk, close unit immediately. This maintains the temp for the culture to work and make my Kefir. I am now a happy camper.
