I've been brewing my own water kefir for a few weeks now. It took a while for the grains to get going and for me to feel like they were working like they should. I did learn that they like when I add molasses to the plain sugar I had been using, I get a lot more carbonation when I add a teaspoon of molasses. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. Came with good instructions that made it easy to use. Love the water with fresh lemon juice, a healthy lemonade!
