I think I contaminated my cultures first thing when I used the handle of a wooden utensil that had not been used or washed in a long time to stir the first jar. I soon had floaties on top and it smelled bad. Suzanne chatted with me, which was helpful and I have been rehabilitating the grains over the holidays. Reading positive reviews is encouraging to think this is possible to do.
