Water Kefir Starter Kit

I had made several batches of water kefir and I noticed I was very gassy and bloated within 2 hours of drinking and I was also drinking kombucha.
I chatted online with someone at Cultured for health about this problem and she said the Water Kefir could be making too much yeast and that I should contact a health care provider.
So I have been off the water kefir for 8 days and I feel better and am glad it was not the Kombucha; it was the water kefir that was making me very uncomfortable!
