Milk Kefir Grains

I heat with wood so I haven't yet found a way to keep an area in my house at a consistent 72 degrees or near that. So this is the 3rd time I've had to order. The last ones I had were doing great and then I thought I'd culture them in the yogurt maker do to a cold spell. Bad idea. It ruined my beautiful grains. The taste was the best it had been but I had to start over. I'm still looking for a way to keep a consistent warm temp. somewhere in my house.
