I have been culturing with my new grains for several weeks. Although I a getting a thick creamy kefir after 24 hours the curds do not seem to be growing and I can barely find them when I strain the kefir. After putting the final product in the refrigerator it seperates and becomes much thinner than when I first placed it in the refrigerator.
