Kefir Cucumber Salad


Kefir can be used for more than just savory dishes. In this tangy, fresh cucumber salad kefir marinates with garlic, apple cider vinegar, and cumin to become deliciously fresh salad.

Big bites of cucumber swimming in delicious kefir will grace your table with this salad. Serve alongside your favorite main dish or at a barbecue for all of the goodness of kefir for any meal.


  • 2 Medium Cucumbers, quartered lengthwise and diced
  • 2 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Apple Cider Vinegar or well-fermented Kombucha
  • 1/2 cup Whole Milk Kefir (cow or goat)
  • Pinch of Ground Cumin


Combine all ingredients in a medium-sized bowl. Allow to marinate in the refrigerator, covered, for fifteen minutes before serving.
