Fromage Blanc Basil Dip
Basil makes an excellent addition to creamy fromage blanc for this dip or spread.
- 8 ounces fromage blanc
- 3 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon coarse sea salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- paprika, to taste
- black pepper, to taste
- Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and beat until mixed well.
- Cover and chill the dip for 2 to 3 hours. Stir again before serving to ensure the oil is mixed in.
Goes well with warm French bread or thick, buttery crackers.
