Consists of a bottom-draining inner container in which the seeds are sprouted, an outer container which holds the inner container in a raised or lowered position. Other parts include an Alfalfa insert which snaps into bottom of inner container for small seeds; a dome which sets over inner container to retain heat and moisture, and doubles as measuring cup; and a cover for refrigerated storage. Made in the USA.

Suggested Use: 1-2 cups of grains, .75-1.25 cups of beans or 2 tablespoons to .5 cups of seeds.

If you want to sprout one type of seed (or a mix) at a time, this simple sprouter works well. Makes for quick and easy soaking, rinsing, and draining. It comes with 3 lids. A solid snap on lid for storage, a perforated snap on lid for sprouting, and a domed perforated lid that just sits on top and doesn't seem to be very useful. All in all a functional product, at a good price, and made in the USA which is kinda nice to see. (Posted on January 31, 2012)
