    • Can this lit be used with almond milk?
    • Unfortunately the Milk Kefir Grains do not fare well with almond or other nut milks. We generally recommend using 1/4 cup finished water kefir per 1 quart homemade almond milk (commercial nut and seed milks just have too many additives getting in the way). You could certainly try to rehydrate these grains according to the directions with dairy milk, allow them to work in dairy milk for 3 weeks, then use the grains directly in homemade almond milk to see if you get any fermented taste or tang.
