    • How is the Cheese Vat used? I'm interested in making cottage cheese and was reading your instructions for preparing the milk. Would the Cheese Vat be useful for that?
    • The cheese vat is not necessary for making cottage cheese but can be quite useful for cheesemaking, especially if you plan to use the microwave to heat your milk. It is non-reactive (very important for cultures) dishwasher safe and cleans very easily.

      How is the Cheese Vat used.

      Marek asked the same question, you even stated it can be quite useful in your response, but did not answer the "how is it used" question.
    • The cheese vat can be used to hold the milk while it cultures. This works best for cheeses that are not heated on the stove. It also fits easily inside a cooler, making it very easy to hold the temperature of the cheese while it sets or cures. The cheese vat is used in place of a large pan for many cheeses. If your recipe calls for a water bath, then this vat is perfect!
