Chai-Spiced Milk Kefir


Chai tea adds delicious spice to kefir in a second fermentation.


  • 2 cups Milk Kefir
  • 1 Chai Tea Bag (preferably organic, or herbal for caffeine-free)
  • Sweetener to taste (Honey, Maple Syrup, etc.)


  1. Place freshly cultured milk kefir in a sealable jar, and add the tea bag. 
  2. Cover the lid tightly and culture at room temperature for an additional 12-24 hours. Remove the tea bag and refrigerate. Add sweetener to taste before serving. Enjoy!
