Asian-inspired Kombucha Dressing


It is often hard to find a salad dressing to accompany an Asian-inspired meal, as the usual American dressings just don’t seem to fit. Try this sweet-spicy dressing heavily dosed with healthful ginger and garlic. It also uses kombucha vinegar for an added probiotic bonus!


  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ½ cup kombucha vinegar
  • ½ cup rice vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes


  1. Combine all ingredients in a small jar, place the lid on tightly, and shake well to combine. It may need to be shaken again just before being poured over the salad or vegetables.
  2. Serve over a salad to go along with an Asian-themed meal of stir-fry, eggrolls, or fried rice.
