Q. How quickly will my order ship?
A. We strive to ship all orders within two business days of being received (Monday - Friday). If there will be a significant delay in your shipment, you will be notified. We offer shipping via USPS and UPS. Please note, we reserve the right to upgrade your shipping at no additional cost to you (e.g. upgrade from UPS Ground to USPS Priority Mail, USPS Parcel Post to UPS Ground, etc.). We strive to have orders reach customers quickly and economically. International orders will be shipped via USPS only.
Q. What are your shipping charges?
A. We strive to keep our shipping costs as low as possible while also getting your order to you quickly since live cultures are time sensitive. We offer two levels of shipping: Standard and Expedited. Standard shipping is via USPS First Class, USPS Parcel Post or UPS Ground and generally takes 3 - 8 business days (not guaranteed). Expedited shipping is via USPS Priority Mail and generally takes 2-3 business days (not guaranteed). All international orders will ship via USPS only. All items (excluding Excalibur Dehydrators, Family Grain Mills and Sprouted Flour) ship from Gladstone, Oregon. Q. Do you ship internationally?
A. We can offer international shipping for most of our products including Yogurt Starters (all varieties), Buttermilk Starter, Milk Kefir Grains, Water Kefir Grains, and dried varieties of Sourdough Starter. The 5-tray and 9-tray Excalibur Dehydrator models are available for shipping to Canada and will ship either Fed Ex Ground or via USPS. At this time all other products are not available for international shipping. All international orders will be sent USPS.
Q. I live locally. Can I pick up my order?
A. We are no longer able to offer a local pick up option. Please be assured that local shipping rates are reasonable and orders generally arrive the next business day after shipment.
Q. Do you offer a wholesale pricing option?
A. At this time we do not have a wholesale pricing option available but hope to have one in the near future. Buying clubs/co-ops wishing to place a large group order should contact us for volume pricing information.
Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and Paypal. We do not accept paper checks. If you wish to pay by check, please use the eCheck option available through Paypal.
Q. Do you accept phone or mail orders?
A. For your security, we do not accept payment information over the phone, via e-mail or via snail mail.
