My favorite healthy smoothie recipe:
- 1-3 cups Yogurt, buttermilk, milk kefir (aka dairy kefir) or combination
- 1 cup Fresh or frozen fruit
- 1-3 T. Coconut oil (melted and allowed to cool a bit)
- Pinch of stevia or small amount of raw honey (if desired for sweetness)
Combine in a blender and serve cold.
Additional ingredients which can be added:
- Fresh egg yolk from pastured chickens (consume at your own risk)
- Handful of spinach or other greens
- Bee pollen
- Brewer’s yeast
